“Our experience in shipping is passed from generation to generation, and that is a great advantage we offer our client”
Our shipping legacy dates back to the 19th century, when Shmuel Mano (1880-1962), owned and operated from Thessaloniki, Greece, a fleet of “Maunas”, self-propelled barges, which served Greek mainland and island ports. Later in 1933 his son, Mordechai Mano, immigrated to Israel and pioneered the development of the local shipping industry. By 1967 Mordechai Mano (1922-1968) had already established a prominent ship owning company with substantial presence in the Mediterranean and global Shipping arena. Today, our CEO, third generation to the legacy with over 30 years of shipping experience, runs Seagull Maritime, a highly specialized business that successfully navigates ahead this great tradition.
Clearly, our clients benefit greatly from our shipping experience, which is passed from generation to generation. However, as much as we look back in history with enormous pride, we have our minds set on the future and the opportunities it conceals.
